Longtime friend Jeremy Gordon approached me asking for a simple personal website to catalogue his writing as well as create a blog and about page. I had been experimenting with HTML canvases trying to make unusual rendering effects, and when I showed my experiments to Jeremy he got as excited as I did. So I did many experiments, catalogued on this page, before we settled on the more subtle and muted version you see live on site now. The effect is best seen live on his website
The site is built in PHP using KirbyCMS (as is this website), and the effect is made with vanilla HTML canvas.
